Enmanchi Park Auto Camping| Escape the hustle and bustle of the city for an unforgettable holiday!

My own personal enjoyment to be found in the middle of nowhere.

After a drive along a mountain road, you finally arrive at the Enmichi Park Auto Campground. As I got out of the car, the delicious air flowed into my body, and the quiet open space was filled with the sounds of birds and insects. Visiting the administration building located near the parking lot, we found an information desk behind the store at the entrance. The person who guided me this time was Mr. Yoshida, the caretaker. We decided to take only a back view of him so that we could see his face when we actually met him.

Pointing to the window of the administration building, Mr. Yoshida said, “All the trees around there are cherry trees, so the cherry blossoms are beautiful in the spring. It’s a very quiet and empty place, so basically, rather than offering anything, we allow visitors to find their own way to enjoy their time here. Mr. Yoshida has set the minimum rules to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone who uses the campground, and has created an environment that allows people to enjoy themselves as freely as possible.

Enjoy the time that only a campsite can offer

There are many different styles of camping. There are of course the standard tents, but there are also log cabins where you can casually enjoy camping without a tent. There are also cottages equipped with kitchens, toilets, and showers in each building, so you can stay at the campground according to your preference. Nets, griddles, and tongs are available for rent, and charcoal is for sale, so as long as you bring your own food, you can easily enjoy a barbecue. Of course, you can also bring your favorite tools.

Some people start a bonfire as soon as they arrive. Others take a stroll around the area. Others prepare for the barbecue. Although we do not offer the full range of services that you would find at a hotel or ryokan (Japanese inn), the joy comes from finding your own way to enjoy yourself and putting in the time and effort to prepare. The time spent while enjoying such a unique camping experience will become a precious memory with family and friends. In addition, the number of solo campers has been increasing recently. It will be another precious moment to ponder while gazing at the campfire.
