Deep in the heart of Mount Nachi, blessed rain pours down on the lush vegetation. The water that spills down through the branches and leaves from the tall trees to the shrubs flows through the ground and becomes a river. The Ota River flows through the ground to the foot of the mountain, nurturing the next sprout. The river moistens the fields, and when it reaches the Kumanonada Sea, it is illuminated by the sun, becomes clouds, and rains down again on the mountains. Ota is a region where such natural cycles are condensed. People have built their lives, towns, and communities around the Ota River. Here, people have always lived with the water, sharing their wisdom and skills and cooperating with each other!
