The countryside at dusk
At Daitaiji, the temple tolls the bell at 5:00 p.m. to mark the setting of the sun. Even if there was a bell for the New Year’s Eve, I am too busy with New Year’s events to go. Or, if you have small children, it is difficult to participate. Many people have never rung the bell for various reasons. The sound of the bell, which is 300 years old, is very special. The sound of the bell, which is 300 years old, is exceptional.
The scenery of rice fields changes with the seasons.
The bell of Daitaiji is located on top of a mountain, with wide rice fields spread out below. I like the rice fields best when they are filled with water before rice planting. The earth becomes a mirror and the sky is reflected in it. It is a luxurious feeling to see this. And in summer, the green rice flutters in the wind, and in early autumn, the golden ears of rice reflect the setting sun and shine. Please enjoy the changing scenery of the countryside along with the bells.
